In-kind support for Indigenous community-based monitoring projects

Indigenous internship began early May and will continue through the field season. We held a three-day wetlands engagement event with Indigenous community partners to share data, information, and tools, and to receive feedback on developing protocols. This event featured live painting with Indigenous artist Jerry Whitehead. We provided HFI technical support to one new community.
