Knowledge Translation and Engagement
Our knowledge translation and engagement activities are focused on facilitating access to our information, data, and results. We translate the results produced through our monitoring into accessible reports, tools, interfaces, and public communications pieces to increase awareness and understanding of Alberta’s living resources by decision makers in Alberta and beyond. The ABMI also partners with multiple Indigenous communities to develop and implement community-based wildlife monitoring programs.
2025–26 Deliverables
Our 2025–26 work is focused on maintaining and updating a key set of existing tools and initiatives listed in the table below. In addition, we provide in-kind support for Indigenous communities when requested. This typically involves providing information, data summaries, or presentations, in addition to working together to scope projects for dedicated funding.
